Form 13.1

Financial Statement (Support and Property)

Generally used when property, debts, or equalization are part of the picture, with or without support.

Learn about Form 13.1

These are general descriptions from Ontario’s published form guidance, not a determination of which form applies to your situation. If you are unsure, review the official instructions or get legal advice.

Why a guided workspace

The official PDF is a form. It is not a workflow.

Long forms, manual totals, and scattered notes make it hard to see what still needs attention. Ontario Forms keeps the same information organized while you work through each section.

Read the Ontario financial-disclosure guidance and use the Form 13.1 overview to understand the general distinction.

A clearer sequence

Three steps from blank page to reviewed statement.

01

Choose Form 13 or Form 13.1 based on the official general guidance.

02

Work through guided sections with autosave and updated calculations.

03

Review reminders, then export when the paid export entitlement is available.

A better finish line

Know what needs attention before you export.

The review view brings missing answers, reminders, and information copied from an earlier statement into one place.

  • Required fields are easy to find

  • Calculations update as you work

  • Supporting-document reminders stay visible

  • Your earlier statement can prefill the next one

Straightforward pricing

Questions, answered plainly

Before you start

Can I complete a form before paying?

Yes. You can create and complete supported forms for free. The planned one-time purchase is for a print-ready export; payment and export entitlement are being implemented separately.

Does this provide legal advice?

No. Ontario Forms is a guided software tool, not a lawyer or legal service. It does not choose a form for you, tell you what to disclose, or file documents with the court.

Will my Form 13.1 information carry into Form 13?

The product is designed for one-way prefill from an earlier statement into a newer statement when fields have a verified equivalent. The source statement is not changed.

Can I use the app as a lawyer or law clerk?

Yes. The workflow is available to professionals helping clients prepare financial disclosure. Visit the professional page for a focused overview.
